I employ analytical and empirical methods to study sustainability and its three pillars: economic, environmental, and social development. From an economics perspective, I study how competition has an effect on new product development and product assortment. Moreover, I am interested in analyzing how consumers react to the introduction of new products. From an environmental viewpoint, I analyze how firms respond to disruptions, and how they are making their supply chains more resilient. Finally, from a social perspective, I study how firms with purpose are more socially responsible, and how inequality has an effect on hiring practices and employee performance
