I'm a bioinformatician by training, even though I have spent most of my working life as a modeller and programmer.
During my PhD I reconstructed constraint based models for a sinorhyzobium-legume symbiosis, investigating the nutrient exchanges between plant and symbiont during symbiosis.
Later I worked as PostDoc at the University of Luxembourg mainly developing tools for COnstraint Based Reconstruction and Analysis (COBRA) of metabolic networks as part of the COBRA Toolbox.
