I'm a Chemical Engineer with interest in biomaterials, biopolymers, and their processing by 3D printing/bioprinting techniques. During my research I have worked with extrusion techniques (direct ink writing, and fused deposition modeling), streolithography, binder jetting, and selective laser sintering. The material processed with these methods are applicable in biomedicine (scaffolds and patches), energy storing structures, as well as highly stable absorbents.
I am PhD student in the department of bioproducts and biosystems. I work in Biobased colloids and Materials research group (BiCMat) and I have currently two projects on going about fiber-based superabsorbents and also 3D printing of lignocellulosics.
