Dr. Prasad Jayathurathnage obtained Bachelor of Science of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunications from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka in 2009, and Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore in 2017. After completing his Ph.D., he was with the Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Australia for one year, and with the Rolls-Royce@NTU Corporate Lab, Singapore for six months. Before starting his Ph.D., Prasad has been working in the industry as an electronics engineer in Sri Lanka for three years.
Currently, Dr. Prasad is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Electronics and Nanoengineering, Aalto University. His research interests are Wireless Power Transfer, High-Frequency Converters, and Magnetics for Power Electronics.
