I am Assistant Professor of Marine Technology (Research Group on Safe and Efficient Marine and Ship Systems). My research focuses on the analysis of marine risks and safety systems engineering with applications in the concepts of smart shipping and ship winter navigation. My work focuses on the development of methods and processes for modelling and analyzing the management of the risks, safety and efficiency of the entire maritime ecosystem with focus on ship design and operation.
