• September 2010: Technical University of Iasi, ROMANIA - PhD degree with honors (CUM LAUDE) in Civil Engineering (Geodesy), for research on the applicability of the Precise Point Positioning for the rehabilitation and the modernization of local and national geodetic networks.

Master level

• March 2006: Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, SWEDEN - Master of Science in Geodesy and Geoinformatics (GPA 4.78 out of 5.0).
• June 1999: Technical University of Iasi, ROMANIA, Engineer diploma in Civil Engineering (Cadastre and Geodesy) - best overall GPA in the Faculty Rank 1 out of approximately 300 students throughout all five years of the program (GPA 9.81 out of 10.0).
