My research interests include urban hydrology, urban runoff quality, and sustainable urban runoff management with a special focus on cold climatic conditions. I have been involved in many urban runoff monitoring studies targeting construction sites, residential areas, city centres, industrial sites and urban snow. In addition to monitoring, I have conducted statistical analyses and rainfall-runoff modelling (SWMM). Before Aalto University, I worked as a project manager at the University of Helsinki.
