Monika Österberg’s research interests
are fundamental interfacial phenomena of forest biomaterials, such as lignin, cellulose and
hemicelluloses, and the development
of new sustainable materials from these polymers. She is especially interested
in spherical lignin nanoparticles, hydrogels and direct surface force measurements.
