Programs and projects. Developing internatinal and natinonal actions and cooperation of Aalto Studios.
Before Aalto University was founded, I worked at University of Art and Design Helsinki, one of the founders of Aalto University. In the university I started as producer in one of the resarch groups, called Crucible Studio at the Department of New Media (later Department of Media) in 2002. After that, about 2006, I worked as a resarcher at the Department of Media New Media. In my first position in Aalto University I had the most coolest title, Factory Agent 007, but that was a short episode in the same year from 2010 to 2016 I started as factory manager at Aalto Media Factory.
Before university life I worked in the business. At WSOY, which was the biggest book publishing company in Finland I worked as a producer in the Department of New Media that was later called as eWSOY. Now Sanoma owns the publisher.
Before the publishing company I was one of the founders and a partner of Tiedotustoimisto Murtovaara & Tenhunen Oy, Netrum Oy and Skuwwa Oy. The companies produced documentaries, a TV series, graphic design, new media (those days it was called so), web-sites, edited company magazines etc. I think we were one of the first companies in Finland that was concentrating only on media production, we didn't have any kind of production equipment (video or film camera, editing units or studio).
