Background
I made my PhD in theoretical physics in the University of Helsinki.
Thereafter I was postdoc in Universitat de Valencia and INFN Trieste. I returned to the University of Helsinki as researcher and teacher, for example giving laboratory practicals and lecturing quantum mechanics and elementary particle physics until I got a position as a project manager in the University of Oulu, designing underground research infrastructures, measuring cosmic rays and planning utmost sensitive low background experiments for rare decays and hardly detectable extraterrestrial and terrestrial particles. Then I was a visiting scientist for several periods at the Technical University of Munich.
I have also achieved a degree of Master of Social Sciences in Management at the University of Lapland, specializing in the leadership of research.
