Dr. Esa Hyytiä's current research interests include opportunistic networking (performance limits, mobility modelling),
wireless networking in general, and energy efficient server systems (e.g., data centers). In general, he is
interested in modelling, optimization and performance analysis of various stochastic systems including
computer, communications and transportation systems.
He is a Docent of Aalto University School of Electrical Engineering since 2013, and has served as a TPC member in several high-profile international conferences including IEEE INFOCOM, IEEE Globecom, and IFIP Networking.
