First and foremost, I am a teacher, who has always had a keen interest in developing schools' ecosystems and pedagogy. This motivation led me to develop first my subject pedagogy by designing commercial learning materials for Upper Secondary Schools and then to become an expert teacher for the city of Helsinki. After five years of teaching and developing the pedagogy of Upper Secondary Schools, in 2017, I had a chance to see the educational research side of things when I started working at the Helsinki University's Department of Educational Sciences (www.opeosaa.fi) and the Centre for Educational Assessment. My work consisted of two projects: 1) The Development of Teacher's Pedagogy and 2) The Developed & Digitalised Assessment of Finnish Upper Secondary Schools. My interest in designing innovations and enabling good learning led me to my previous job as a Pedagogical Specialist in the digitalisation of pedagogy in the Upper Secondary Education, Vocational Education and Liberal Adult Education in the City of Helsinki.
