Summary
Antti is an Assistant Professor of Operations Management in Construction at Aalto University School of Engineering. Prior to joining Department of Civil Engineering, Antti was Head of BIT Research Centre at Aalto U. Department of Industrial Engineering and Management. He received his PhD in 2010 from Aalto University. Currently, he teaches courses on Construction Management for Building Technology Master's programme. He has been involved in a number of research projects building on strong collaboration with industrial partners. His current research interests are mostly focused within modularity and industrialization in construction, supplier evaluation and development, and inter-organizational collaboration in large projects. Antti is also involved in several research projects related to digitalization of engineering and construction operations.
Antti's research has been published in journals such as International Journal of Operations and Production Management, Journal of Cleaner Production, Industrial Marketing Management, International Journal of Project Management, and Construction Management and Economics. In the future, Antti plans to continue research collaboration with high profile industrial partners and theoretically and methodologically well-informed academics. He is constantly looking for highly motivated PhD candidates who have related research interests.
