Anna Lukkarinen is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management at Aalto University School of Science. Her research interests center on entrepreneurial finance, growth ventures, digital platforms, sustainability, ethics, and educational performance. The focus of much of her empirical research is equity crowdfunding, which is an apt representation of technological developments affecting entrepreneurial ventures. She earned her doctorate from Aalto University School of Business in 2019. She holds a teacher’s qualification from the University of Helsinki and has taught a multitude of courses in advanced strategic management, business mathematics, and statistics.

Before her academic career, Anna worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company and as an investment banking analyst in mergers and acquisitions at Citigroup.
