I am Doctoral student at the department of Communications and Networking, Aalto University, Finland. I am working under the supervision of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Joerg Ott and Dr. Pasi Sarolahti. My PhD study is fully funded by the European Commission Marie Curie Initial Training Network program, under the METRICS project.
I received Master's (2014) degree in Computer Science from University of Trento, Italy where he was advised by Prof. Alberto Montresor and his Bachelor's degree (2010) in Information Science from Adama Science & Technology University, Ethiopia. I was a visiting PhD student at Chair of Connected Mobility of Technical University of Munich (summer 2017, 2018), INRIA - Paris, France (2017), Simula Research Laboratories(2016). My current research focuses on network measurement and QoE modelling. Before joining Aalto, I was intern student at NEC Europe Labs, Germany, a developer at GreenPrefab Italia, Italy, a graduate assistant at Adama Science & Technology University, Ethiopia.
I studied Information Science at Adama Science & Technoplogy University, Ethiopia and graduated with bachelor of Science in 2010.
Since Spetemeber 2011 I started my masters study at University of Trento, Italy in Computer Science specializing in Internet Technologies and I graduated with Masters of Science in March 2014.
Since February 2013 to January 2014 I was an Inter student at Intelligent Transport Systems group of NEC Laboratories Europe in Heidelberg, Germany.
Since March - July 2012 I worked as Web developer and programmer at GreenPrefab Italia s.r.l, Rovereto. During this I participated in an EU funded project called VENUS-C.
From Septemeber 2010 to August 2011 I worked as teaching and research assistant at Adama Science & Technology University.
